How can I get Involved?

We are thrilled that you are interested in getting involved we Revive House Church. If you want to see if a house church is right for you, or maybe you have a group of people in mind and you want to know what it takes to start a house church or be a part of Revive. We would love to talk with you! Please reach out to us at connect@revivehousechurch.com

Maybe you are not interested in participating but want to know what you can do to help. We would love for you to pray for us, our ministry, and the people of our community who don't know Jesus. And you can always support us through the donations link on our give page.   

When Do your house churches meet?

While we encourage our house churches to meet on Sunday morning, we allow house churches to meet whenever works best for their people.

Where do you your house Churches Meet?

Our house churches meet in homes around Prince William County and Northern Virginia. If you are interested in being part of a house church please reach out to us and we will be happy to help you find one that works for you.

How do you handle childcare?

Each house church is allowed to decide which childcare model works for them. The three we recommend are 1. Hiring in house childcare workers/babysitters. 2, Parents take turn watching the kids. 3, Having children present and participate when they gather.

How do you handle Middle and High School Students?

It is up to the parents and their house church if they want middle and high school students present when their house church meets. Generally, this decision is based around effecting the vulnerability and maturity of the groups discussion time. We also encourage all middle and high school student to participate in the student groups at Gainesville Church. 

WHat mission/service projects do you do?

We do neighborhood, local, and international mission trips. We empower each house church to look and identify missional needs in their community. We partner with Gainesville Church on their numerous service projects including: visiting with and feeding the homeless, supporting local food pantries, building ramps for the handicapped, and more. We also do clean water work in Ethiopia, installing water filters in rural villages and partnering with local churches there.  

Where and when does "Worship Together" take place?

Worship Together meets once a month on Sunday mornings, it takes the place of that week's house church. The location for Worship Together changes, please contact us or your house church leader for more information.

What is expected of someone who is part of Revive house church?

Being a part of a house church involves a certain level of commitment. We ask everyone who is a part of our house churches to first and foremost live into the great commandment: love God and love people. We also ask all our people to practice daily habits that help us to live into the great commandment and grow closer together. These include: daily prayer, daily bible reading, participating during Gatherings, caring for one another, giving, and taking part in missions and outreach.
